Practitioner for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities

Áine Davies, RNLD.  Áine is a passionate Learning Disabilities Nurse, her clinical career commenced in 2008, following her studies at Thames Valley University, London.

Áine has worked in various clinical and managerial roles within the independent sector and the NHS.  Nursing in the independent mental health sector, younger peoples care home, NHS residential services and community learning disability services.   As a Learning Disabilities Practitioner, Áine conducts Provider Assessments, participates in writing clinical standards, supports the undertaking of national work and works with the team in recognising and improving quality and safety of service user care. 

Áine lives with her husband and dog.  She enjoys long walks, watching sport and socialising with family and friends.
