New Trial for Patient Experience: EDQDF work with HappyOrNot on new touch free Patient feedback systems.

The system will be trialled at the new Grange University Hospital, part of the Aneurin Bevans University Health Board. The system will allow patients to leave feedback on their visit to the Emergency Department, contact free to improve safety during Covid-19 restrictions. The data collected will be available instantly to staff for use in a variety of areas such as resource management, staff recognition and facility management.  

Prior to Covid-19 most Emergency Departments across Wales had a HappyOrNot feedback terminal for patients to leave feedback. As part of infection prevention measures the terminals were removed. The national EDQDF team worked closely with Emergency Departments to create a suite of posters and digital materials with QR codes to display, allowing them to continue collecting patient feedback.
