This session follow on from a previous workshop, run by the National Collaborative Commissioning Unit (NCCU) through the Emergency Department Quality & Delivery Framework (EDQDF) Programme, where frontline staff were brought together to build 'What Good Looks Like' for ambulance handover and triage. The NCCU brought a variety of clinical staff together for a workshop event to agree the reasonability of the model in order to progress the work forward.

Background

Following on from a previous session, run by the National Collaborative Commissioning Unit (NCCU) through the Emergency Department Quality & Delivery Framework (EDQDF) Programme, where frontline staff were brought together to build 'What Good Looks Like' for ambulance handover and triage. The NCCU brought a variety of clinical staff together for a workshop event to agree the reasonability of the model in order to progress the work forward.

During the EDQDF Clinical Sign Off Event for Ambulance Handover & Triage, Anna Sussex took the audience through the journey so far on this piece of work and also spoke around operational arrangements. Participants then went on to break out room to discuss views on if the model and operations arrangements were reasonable. Julian Baker then took the audience through next steps for the model.
